MARBLE MAGIC

Nothing whispers opulence more than swathes of marble – and the soft grey tones of the floor-to-ceiling feature wall do all the talking in this sophisticated bathroom, even if the ‘marble’ is not the real deal. “The marble-look feature wall was included to add interest and depth to a space that could have otherwise felt too light and bare,” says interior designer Chantal Philippe from Myers + Philippe Design, who created this luxe look. “Too much marble can overpower a space or make it feel traditional, so be mindful of the selection and its location.” {STYLE TO STEAL} Recreate the counters and wall stone with Laminam i Naturali in Arabescato XL from Signorino, paired with understated contemporary hardware from Graff.

SOFT AND SERENE

An all-white bathroom need not feel cold and clinical – take note from the gentle, harmonious palette of this exquisite space. Bursting with light and warmth, this inviting splash zone boasts a careful blend of textiles with raw, natural materials. “Our goal was to dress it up so it didn’t feel cold,” says Kristen Rigau, operations manager at Chango & Co., the company that designed the room. “We added drapery, Roman shades and great lighting.” {STYLE TO STEAL} Bring this look home with bespoke drapery from A’besco, paired with chic timber side tables – try Mark

TURKISH DELIGHT

It’s hard not to be transported to an exotic Turkish bathhouse when stepping into this serene space. Inspired by visits to Morocco and Turkey, interior designer Tracy Kundell from Toronto-based Avalon Interiors was determined to create a space that evoked memories of her travels. “I wanted a dramatic floor pattern, as it was going to be the anchor for all the other design elements,” she says of designing her own bathroom. A fibre optic starlight effect on a squinch ceiling is a magical touch. {STYLE TO STEAL} Bring your holiday home with similar mosaic tiles from Jatana Interiors, pared back with ‘Brushgrove’ matt white tiles from Tile Cloud and timeless tapware from Kohler.
