5 Repetition of shapes

One rule of good character design is to play with the repetition of shapes. Try to use only a limited set of elements (between three and five) with simpler elements that you can duplicate to build up a good sense of rhythm in the design. The viewer’s eye won’t notice it at first, but the use of patterns and repetition creates a strong shape language.
