5 Scanning the image

I prep the drawing for scanning into Photoshop. I keep a wand scanner on hand for mobility and convenience, because they can be easier to use on surfaces that won’t fit in a conventional scanning bed. Whichever type you choose, ensure that you scan the image in at a higher resolution than you’ll likely need, I typically go with 600dpi at a minimum.
