Filipe only discovered art in the entertainment industry about four years ago, but when he did he dropped everything else. “I love to create new worlds, new stories and imagine all the possibilities,” he says.

1 A Mark of War

“I produced this landscape painting for a personal science fiction project. I wanted to show how this once-beautiful planet was ruined by war between the different civilisations that were living on it.”

“Lately I’ve been looking at architecture, storytelling and cultural references from a different perspective. My overall aim is to explore patterns and shapes that really defined how a certain culture built things.”

3 The First Tree

“This was a simple practice painting that told the tale of how an immense spaceship crashed on to a deserted, desolate planet. the vessel brought life with it and now the world is changing around it.”
