“These are the two things that I like to draw the most, so I had to merge them. I think this is an exercise all artists should do: combine elements that at first glance don’t work well together. For example, mixing animals: I once drew a creature that was half tiger and half monkey! We have to experiment and try many things, if we’re to improve our skills.”
