Can the Panel find more room in this one-bedroom apartment?

the story so far

Whenthis one-bedroomEvangeline and unit Rayin the Lam Canberra purchased suburb of Bruce in 2011, they were among the first to move into the building. Since then, their family has grown (and they’re hoping it will grow more) but the home hasn’t. “Baby gear takes up heaps of space,” says Evangeline. “Our parents come to visit a lot as well and they sleep in the playroom area off the living room. It gets pretty crowded but we don’t want to move, as we like the fact that our place is compact, cosy and easy to maintain. We try to be minimalist and we don’t need a lot of space. We need to learn how to use what we have more efficiently.” What’s stopping them? The couple are recovering from a year of sleep deprivation and haven’t had the energy to deal with the problem. They also don’t have a budget. “We have no idea how much it might cost,” says Evangeline. “If it’s an amazing idea that will transform the space, we’re happy to pay.”
