Macaroni and cheese

Who said decadence can’t be inexpensiv­e? This recipe delivers a large pot of cheesy, creamy macaroni.

SERVES 4-6 TIME 30min LEVEL Easy

Ingredient­s

250g macaroni (half a bag)

1 cup cream

2 cups cheddar or cheese of choice

Method

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and make macaroni to package instructio­ns.

2. Once cooked, drain the pasta. Turn off the heat, and return the pot to the stove.

3. Dump the cream and cheese in the pot and stir until it melts together. Turn the heat to low. If the sauce is too thick, add a li le milk.

4. Add macaroni back to the pot and stir.

Season with some pepper and a little salt..

TIP

Serve with a stew or any sauce of your choice.
