This manager launches with a friendly startup wizard, but the main interface is rather convoluted and bombards the screen with about half a dozen panes. The pane on the left, for instance, displays the filesystem by default but once a library is organised, the view can be changed to filter images based on other criteria. Another pane displays thumbnail images along with some metadata, such as image resolution and time.

You can rate images using icons on the thumbnail itself and categorise selected images with another pane. When you double-click an image it opens up in a new tab with a simplified interface. This has a list of icons for quick access to commonly used editing functions, such as rotate, crop and resize. Other advanced editing functions, such as level adjustment can be accessed from the Image menu..
