KPhotoAlbum

Unlike the other photo managers, KPhotoAlbum’s main interface contains a collection of icons. You can use these to sort through the images in your library, eg selecting the People option will list images according to an alphabetical list of people that are tagged in them.

After you’ve selected an item from a category, you’re brought back to the main page of the browser, which will only display information about those images matching the item chosen in the category. The menu on the top of the main interface helps sort and catalogue the library by adding categories, sub-categories, labels, tokens and annotations. Annotations are tags and the manager has an extensive set of options to catalog images. In fact, the application itself recommends that users read the documentation for the annotation window when you bring it up.
