How KDEesque are they?

Since they all use the KDE desktop, all the candidates on test here look quite similar at first glance. They also have very similar list of default apps which makes them look even more alike. What really sets them apart from each other is their objective and the user experience they aim to deliver. Both of these become apparent as you spend time fiddling around with the distributi­on getting things done.

Some distributi­ons are focused enough to only appeal to a particular type of user while others are flexible enough to mould themselves to suit a large number of users. In this section we’ll evaluate which distributi­on makes the best use of the tools at its disposal to present a more polished, refined and useful KDE desktop.
