Netrunner
By default, Netrunner uses the traditional application launcher with cascading menus but like the others you can switch to any of the alternatives. Thanks to its customisations and theme, it looks polished and consistent despite a bunch of non-KDE and proprietary apps, much like Maui. The customisation extends to key KDE apps such as Dolphin and the SystemSettings window. For example, in addition to the usual configuration modules, the SystemSettings window also includes the System administration section. There’s also the Advanced section from where you can manage Plasma services such as KRunner and Akonadi. Like Maui, update duties are handled by Mint’s UpdateManager, but the devs should revisit their decision to use Synaptic for package management instead of one of the other more intuitive front-ends.
