Switch profiles

-

You can easily change profiles without leaving your current terminal session – the obvious choice is to open the Terminal > Change Profile menu and select the profile you want. Doing so will instantly apply that profile’s settings to the current session. It won’t, however, run any custom commands assigned to that profile.

You can also launch a new Terminal session from within the command line – note this will launch it in a new window (and is the equivalent of choosing File > Open Terminal):

$ gnome-terminal --window-withprofile=<PROFILENAME>

Replace <PROFILENAME> with your chosen profile name (which is case sensitive. If the profile has any spaces in it, precede this with a backslash character – for example,

Mopidy\ server ).
