UTox

-

The uTox interface is straightforward and clean. The panel on the left lists all your contacts while the panel on the right is split into several different tabs. The default tab, Profile, is where you will find your unique Tox ID. You must share this with all your contacts, and vice versa, before you can add new contacts. Since the Tox ID is the only identifier used by the tool, it doesn’t require any other personal details, which is a good thing.

You can configure uTox to retain chat history and whether the tool should run at startup or close to the System tray from the User Interface tab. If you have multiple connected devices, you can choose the Audio Input/Output, Video Input device to use from the Audio & Video tab. For each contact, you can also configure uTox to accept incoming file transfers without seeking a confirmation from you every time.
