If you want to use Docusaurus for a real project then there are several avenues that we recommend exploring further. The Docusaurus site (https://docusaurus.io) should be your first port of call. There’s a lot of useful information on its site and you can find out more about creating, formatting and navigating pages. There’s also insights on the various configuration options in docusaurus.config.js and how to extend Docusaurus using plugins. Because Docusaurus is based on React you can also learn about creating and importing components that can then be reused throughout the site. This is useful when you don’t want to duplicate content, but need it to be available in multiple places.

On the Netlify front you can also edit the random URL your site is assigned to something that’s more appropriate to your needs. Obviously, this needs to be unique and not in use by anyone else. You can do this from Site Settings | Domain Management and then selecting Edit Site Name from the Options drop-down in Custom Domains. If you have your own domain name then it’s easy to add it, although you’ll need to add a record to your DNS settings to verify that you own the domain and to configure the alias. Netlify will walk you through the process and give you the record you need to add, so it’s usually a reasonably straightforward process.

Finally, you can explore using SSH to connect to GitHub for increased security.
