COLOUR ME HAPPY

Since moving home at the tail-end of last year, into what can only be described as something of a 'project' house, I've become a little bit obsessed with colour. It's amazing the difference that a splash of paint makes to the whole feel of a room! But you don't have to go for all out redecoration to update your spaces – a well placed quilt or cushion is the perfect way to inject a bold shade. Right now, as I'm hankering for the start of Spring, I'm particularly drawn to fresh greens and blues but come summertime I know I'll have switched allegiance to hot coral and pink shades. That's the beauty of introducing colour with fabric accents, you get all the impact without the permanence!
