Tell us about your sewing journey.

FREE SEWING KIT I learnt to sew at a young age, but I only really got WORTHinto it when my son was born. £14.99 I started blogging in 2009, making upcycled clothing, WITH self-drafted YOUR patternless FIRSTprojects and homewares. I took classes in basic PURCHASE* techniques, but since then I’ve learnt everything I know through trial( T&C'sand error, apply) experimentation and online tutorials.

Describe your sewing style.

I love simple shapes in interesting fabrics with unusual texture or details. Often I will play with the right and wrong side of the fabric for contrast. When it comes to palette, I love neutrals (grey being my fave!) and at the moment I can’t get enough of blush pinks. I love a stripe (and am a bit of a master stripe matcher, if I do say so myself) and I also like modern, geometric designs.

What finished project are you most proud of?

My favourite make is usually my most recent one! But as it stands, I'm in love with the quilted denim coat I made last year.
