CUTTING OUT
1 From Fabric A cut:
■ Fourteen (14) 4¾in squares.
2 From Fabric B cut:
■ Twenty eight (28) 4¾in squares.
■ Seven (7) 7¼in squares.
3 From Fabric C cut:
■ Fourteen (14) 4¾in squares.
■ Fourteen (14) 6in squares.
■ Fourteen (14) 7¼in squares.
4 From Fabric D cut:
■ Twenty eight (28) 6in squares.
■ Seven (7) 7¼in squares.
■ Seven (7) 11in squares.
5 From Fabric E cut:
■ Fourteen (14) 6in squares.
■ Seven (7) 11in squares.
6 From the binding fabric cut:
■ Seven (7) 2½in x WOF strips.
7 Cut the backing fabric in half to make two (2) 63in x WOF rectangles.
EIGHT AT ONCE HSTS
8 Place one 4¾in square of Fabric A with one 4¾in square of Fabric B, right sides together.
9 On the wrong side of one of the squares, mark two diagonal lines. Sew ¼in from either side of both lines (Fig 1).
