Too much work

On behalf of Apple the Fair Labor Association (FLA) recently audited working practices at Apple supplier, Quanta. The company employs over 35,000 workers on Apple production lines. FLA found many workers at one factory work over 60 hours each week. The supplier averaged an 86% compliance with its 60-hour work-week policy, which is lower than the 95% compliance reached by all the companies rated within Apple's 2014 Supplier Responsibility report. Apple said it is now working with Quanta and other suppliers to end excessive overtime.
