The end result
We used the newspaper template in Piktochart to create custom charts and maps. In the Settings, we changed the default colour for one of the maps, to make our newspaper page look more colourful. For one of the maps we clicked the Data field and changed the population figures to ‘Born’ and ‘Moved to/Lived’, then added the figures for each country. Since we were able to share the Piktochart over Facebook, Google+ or email, recipients could click fields to see the figures for each country. Summary articles turned the page into a journal. We also generated a chart showing the most popular pets across three generations and added photos of some of them. To share our Piktochart we clicked Download, chose A4 and PNG as then saved the page to our Mac.
