3 We like the look of this one – all rich brown and inky blue with silver highlights. The clip that closes the flap looks especially smart, although it's a little loose and prone to coming undone when the bag isn't very full. The leather bottom and chunky seams combine with padding to make it safe for the laptop. However, there’s not a lot of extra space. But it’s easy to carry, as the strap is comfortable even though it has no padding. Matt Bolton
