When’s it due? Available in November. Why are we excited? G-Technology rates the potential speed of this thing as up to 1350MB/s – that’s over 10Gbps. Ridiculous! That’s why it needs to be Thunderbolt 2 – Thunderbolt 1 could limit its maximum performance. Of course, it has a steep price, but if you need lots of storage and lots of speed, it’s hard to beat.
