4 The UniStrip2 allows you to charge four USB-connected mobile devices from a single power outlet at the same time. What separates Macally’s offering from the pack, however, is its AC passthrough outlet and lengthy cable. We powered an iPhone 5, iPad mini and two other USB-powered devices from it while its mains socket ably charged an in-use MacBook Pro. The UniStrip2 is reasonably light, has surge protection, the 6-foot cable is long enough to run from a socket to your bedside table in most hotel rooms, and it’s as compact as you could expect.
