What is it? It’s a portable Bluetooth speaker that costs £300 – which is quite a lot of pounds when you consider that many of the portable speakers we recommend tend to come in at more like the £120 mark. Predictably, though, B&O’s take on the category is really smartly designed, nicely made and it sounds, quite frankly, pretty incredible. When’s it due? Available now. Why are we excited? No, but seriously, this thing sounds ludicrous for its size. It’s about the same size as most £100ish wireless speakers, but it can absolutely fill a room with music at a conversation-blocking level that actually sounds good. And at more normal listening volumes, it sounds really quite special indeed – rich and full, despite the thin size of the box. We’re really looking forward to giving this a proper review soon!
