Yosemite includes an easy way for app developers to record video and audio of their iOS apps, and it’s available to you as well. It’s a great way to show off your game skills, and send a video to a friend to show them how to do something. Connect your iOS 8 device to your Mac using its Lightningto-USB cable. Open QuickTime and choose File > New Movie Recording. Click the arrow to the right of the record button and choose your iOS device’s name from the available cameras, and under microphones if you want to record its audio as well. Press the red button to start recording.
