I’m planning to replace my old PC soon. I use my PC mainly for editing photos; I think an iMac with its large screen is right for the job, and with the size of hard drive available it suits lots of photo files.

However, I use Photo Calendar Creator – a piece of software that’s unavailabl­e for OS X – to print calendars for all my friends, with my pals now asking when it will be out, so I cannot stop the tradition! I read in MacFormat that Microsoft software can be run by installing a Windows software to run it. I don’t really want to go that way – I want to get away from Windows altogether – however, I’m not sure how to go about looking for apps that are available for iMac to see if a similar app is available.
