Check the Facebook page for new Likes and comments.

Make sure you answer comments or queries.

Add details of group meetings and other events.

Invite other people who use Facebook to the event (such as friends or members of similar groups in the area).

Have multiple Facebook page administrators. That way you’ll all be able to post articles, add events and reply to other people on Facebook as yourselves or as the group name.

Having several administrators will spread the responsibility for managing the Facebook page as the group grows.

Encourage members to share links to interesting articles on your Facebook page and to post their own photos relating to the group’s interest.

Don’t rely on Facebook to the exclusion of other ways of sharing information. You don’t want people to feel excluded because they aren’t Facebook users.
