2 MoneyWiz offers practically identikit functionality to HomeBudget, but edges it thanks to its greater flexibility and configurability – importing data is quicker and supports more formats, for example. Its sync capabilities are also the best on test, thanks to its proprietary SYNCbits server, which works across iOS and – via a separate purchase – Mac. The only real blemish is that support for automatic downloading of transactions from online banks requires a separate – and pricey (at £39.99 a year) – subscription.
