How do I close a me.com address?
I decided not to use my me.com address as my main email account six months ago, but people are still sending to it despite my best efforts. I have tried to resuscitate the account but it seems tied to a Virgin address (now disused and closed) for verification purposes. I can’t access the me.com one, and Apple will only send the verification request to the Virgin email. I’m going round in a circle! Bob Aspinall Even if you contact Apple, you may have a hard time proving the me.com account was ever yours. If you didn’t set up security questions for the account, I think you’ll just have to add something to your email signature reminding people of your new address.
