Luis’s Apple Classic!

I was given a ‘strawberry’ slot-loading iMac G3 in 2000 by a friend who was chucking it out because it wouldn’t boot. I replaced the hard disk and reinstalled Mac OS 9, and for the next five years it sat in the kitchen on a shelf as an impromptu ‘looking things up on the internet’ computer. I liked it partly because of the curvy, wipe-clean case, but mostly because the pink colour clashed gloriously with the green walls of our kitchen at the time.
