Luis’s Apple Classic!
The first 64-bit Intel Mac was the Mac Pro, released in 2006. From the outside, it looks like the Power Mac G5 it replaced, but inside it was significantly beefed up. This was actually the last Mac to make the switch to Intel processors but it leapfrogged the iMac line-up with twin Xeon chips with two cores in each. It doesn’t meet EU safety regulations any more due to the large exposed fans inside the case, but it’s still a capable machine that can run OS X Lion.
