EXPLAINED… Handbrake basic settings
1 Source
Select your file, plus limit your selection by angle, chapters, seconds or frames if applicable.
2 Encoder
Choose H.264 (x264) for max compatibility. Set FPS to ‘same as source’, constant framerate.
3 Quality
Increase the RF for greater compression, but lesser quality. Aim for 20 (HD) or 21-22 (SD).
4 Encoder options
Set the type of video using the Tune dropdown menu, nudge the preset slider up to Very Fast.
