How to Connect your account

1 Link your Mac

Open System Preferences and click Internet Accounts. This is where you manage online accounts for email, appointments and social networking for the likes of Facebook and Twitter. Click Facebook in the list of services to begin.

2 Choose Facebook

In the right pane, you’ll see a range of online services that integrate directly with macOS Sierra, including social networks. Choose Facebook, then enter your Facebook username and password. Click Next to continue the process.

3 Permission summary

Sierra provides you with a summary of permissions that you’ll be granting, including access to Facebook contacts, the ability to post updates and photos and working with apps. When you’re done, click Sign In to finish.
