Says Apple tax backlog not recovered

The European Commission is taking the Irish government to the European Court of Justice in a bid to recover £11.3 billion in back taxes it says Apple owes. The Commission ruled in August 2016 that Apple had received illegal state aid from the Irish government, but says the government has yet to fully recover the owed taxes or act in a timely fashion.
