How we tested

We performed a range of shooting tests in varying light conditions and with different subjects. The aim was to go beyond Apple’s ‘auto’ mode and get the kinds of adjustments and settings during shooting that you would get from a ‘real’ camera. Our focus was on shooting and the ability to export in very high quality, and also (where available) to edit the pictures.
