Hi-Fi hits the wrong note

Not every Apple audio product is a runaway success. Long before HomePod there was the iPod Hi-Fi. Selling for £249, it was costly, had somewhat limited functionality and only worked with some iPod models on sale at the time. Unsurprisingly, it sold poorly and was eventually withdrawn from sale in September 2007. It would be another 10 years before Apple unveiled the HomePod.
