I’ve been interested in external graphics cards since Mac support was announced last year. Razer’s Core X is the first one I’ve seen. Performance depends on the card you put inside of it, though the crux is whether the app you’re using supports eGPUs; if your work can benefit from one, an eGPU is a no-brainer.
