YOU’LL NEED Adobe Premiere Elements 2020
Thanks to your iPhone, it’s easier to capture video recordings of day-to-day events. As a result you may have a large collection of video clips in the Camera app’s Video album. Although you can trim and share single clips directly from the iPhone, you need an app like Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 to tell a more sophisticated story in video form.
Premiere Elements 2020 enables you to combine a series of clips into a slick narrative. You can trim clips to lose the irrelevant bits and swap their running order to change the way your story unfolds (as you might swap sentences using a word processing document). Post-production tools such as mixes and wipes enable you to combine clips in a more creative and sophisticated way, mirroring the look of film and TV shows.
Terrific titles
Premiere Elements enables you to add titles to your productions, making your videos look more professional and helping them to attract more attention on social media sites. Onscreen text also provides ways to communicate with your audience if they’re watching the clip on a feed with the sound muted.
In this walkthrough, we’ll introduce you to the basic layout of Premiere Elements 2020 and show you how to trim and reorder your clips in the timeline and blend them together using transitions. We’ll then add an eye-catching title to the start of the footage. George Cairns
