HOW TO Use Fantastical’s calendar sets

-

1 Create a new calendar set

Click Fantastical > Preferences, then click the Calendars tab. Click the + icon in the bottom left, then give your calendar set a name. Check or uncheck calendars in the right-hand pane to add or remove them from the set.

3 Switch calendar sets

In the bottom left, click the name of the current calendar set, then select a different set. Or click ≈+2, ≈+3, and so on, to switch to the set that corresponds to each number (≈+1 shows all calendars).

5 Enable or disable calendars

To adjust a set’s calendars, open preferences and å-click a calendar’s checkbox to disable or enable all calendars on that account. Alternatively, å+ß+click a calendar to disable all calendars except that one.

2 Change default calendar

You can override the default calendar when you are using a specific calendar set. In Fantastical’s preferences, click a calendar set, then change the default calendar (and task list, if you like) at the bottom.

4 Duplicate a current set

To duplicate a calendar set, open Fantastical’s preferences, then ≈+click a calendar set name and click Duplicate. This is useful if you want to use an existing calendar set as a template.

6 Location-based sets

To activate a calendar set when you arrive at a location (like your workplace), tick the ‘Automatically activate at location’ checkbox in preferences, then add a location and choose if it activates when you arrive or leave.
