How to Work with text using 3D Touch

Move within text

To select a range of text, press firmly on the on-screen keyboard and its keys will go blank. Keep your finger on the screen and slide it around to reposition the insertion point in the document, relative to your movements.

Start a selection

After positioning the insertion point, keep your finger on the screen, press firmly again to select the word. Slide your finger to add more words. After lifting your finger, you can access options by tapping your selection.

Bigger selection

Position the insertion point, press firmly twice in quick succession to select the sentence; slide your finger to extend the selection a sentence at a time. Or, press three times to select, then grow your selection in paragraphs.
