My Mac is dead

If your Mac won’t turn on, check the power supply. Exercise caution while trying both a different power outlet and a different lead if you have one, then check the fuse in the plug. The problem may be internal, such as a transformer or the power switch itself. The latter two are risky fixes – we’d recommend a trip to a Genius Bar or Authorized Service Provider – turn to p32 for details.
