Spotlight results have become unmanag eable

Strip down what Spotlight includes in its search results by unchecking what you don’t need through its pane in System Preferences. Use the same pane’s Privacy tab to exclude files and folders entirely – perhaps even a drive that contains only old archived project files you rarely need.
