A map to El Capitan
The Ask column in the February 2017 issue (#124) states that older iMacs cannot be upgraded to El Capitan because it isn’t available from the App Store. According to this article (apple.co/2jU76oI) on Apple’s Support website, El Capitan is indeed available. I followed the link in the article which took me to the El Capitan App Store page. Thank you for sharing this, and we apologize for the error. You can’t get to the El Capitan installer on the App Store by searching for it, but the link above does enable you to find it on the page.
