Set things up 1

Choose View > Show Scale, and use the Labels and Distances submenus to fine-tune the map’s appearance. Next, click Directions; in the sidebar that opens, type a location (or “My Location”) in the Start field.

Build a journey 2

Enter your destination in the End field, and use the buttons below to request driving, walking, or public transport directions; driving may show multiple routes with durations. Pick View > Show Traffic to see jams.

Use public transit 3

Transit provides directions for public transportation; in its Leave pop-up menu, set the time and day you want to leave or arrive. Click Details next to a route below to view its steps, then send it to your iPhone or export it as a PDF.
