Apple Watch doesn’t receive verificati­on codes, but 2FA must be enabled to use its ability to unlock your Mac (look in your Mac’s Security & Privacy prefs).

Devices that don’t meet the specs shown here will still work with 2FA, but the experience won’t be quite as polished – see “What about older devices?”
