How to Get started with Wunderlist

Install Wunderlist

Open the Mac App Store and search for “Wunderlist: To-Do List & Tasks.” Click Get, then Install App. Enter the password for your Apple ID password. Once it’s downloaded, click Open to get started with the app.

Wunderlist Helper

This step is optional but recommended. Wunderlist can display notifications through its Wunderlist Helper, even when the app isn’t open. Choose Enable Wunderlist Helper to activate the feature and receive notifications.

Create a to-do

To create a to-do item, simply type in some text and press ® . Each time you type and press ® a new to-do item is created. You can click the star icon next to any to-do item to mark it as urgent.

Register account

If you have a Facebook or Google account, click one of their icons to sign in to Wunderlist using it. Otherwise, click Create Free Account, enter your details and click Create Free Account once again.

Choose your lists

To make things simple, Wunderlist lets you choose from several default to-do lists, with categories such as Groceries. Click the white circle next to any of these to activate, then click Get Started.

Schedule reminders

When creating a to-do, you can click the calendar icon to open a window to set a date and/or reminder. Simply double-click on existing to-dos to edit reminders, set sub-tasks, and make notes.
