Scan and share text with this OCR tool Free Developer creaceed, creaceed.com Platform Universal Requirements iOS 10.0 or later Prizmo Go takes the optical character recognition capabilities from the Prizmo document scanner and hives them off into a separate app.

The free version enables you to snap a picture of any text document with your iPhone’s camera and turn the image into text. There’s support for 10 languages and the text can be read aloud using text-to-speech or VoiceOver.

Buy the Export Pack for $4.99 and the text can be sent to another app; or you can copy and paste text to another iOS app, or your Mac using iOS 10 and Sierra’s Universal Clipboard capability.

Prizmo Go can also import images from your Photo Library, or another app, and perform text recognition on them. Buy credits for the Cloud OCR service ($0.99 for 100 or $4.99 for 1,000 – first 10 free) and Prizmo Go can recognize 22 languages and improve its performance.

Processed text highlights web and email addresses, phone numbers, and map locations: tapping on those triggers Safari, Mail, the phone app, or Apple Maps, as appropriate.

In use we found Prizmo Go to be both quick and accurate, when using Cloud OCR. Its image stabilization and text highlighting both worked very well.

In fact, we had no complaints about Prizmo Go at all.

The bottom line: If you need a tool to do quick and accurate text recognition from images, Prizmo Go is nothing less than ideal. Kenny Hemphill AWESOME
