Midnight Pulp

Scary stuff to keep you up at night

- J.R. Bookwalter

Long before Peter Jackson embarked on bringing J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy novels to the big screen, he directed a gruesome little oddity called “Bad Taste” — just one of a number of rare cult movie treats to be found lurking on Midnight Pulp, a streaming channel for all things strange.

Featuring hard-to-find horror films, digitally remastered kung fu movies, and exploitation titles from every decade, this is a veritable one-stop shop for Italian classics like “Suspiria,” “Black Sunday,” and “Phenomena” as much as for B-movies like “Microwave Massacre” that have to be seen to be believed.

The streaming quality isn’t exactly HD, and you’ll have to suffer a few ads here and there, but cult movie fans have the option of paying $4.99 every month to watch ad-free. New content is added every week.

?? ?? Midnight Pulp reminds you that there’s a lot more to movies than Hollywood blockbusters.
