Bellycheck

Healthier eating at the flick of your wrist

Feeling “hangry” while on the go but on a diet? Bellycheck quickly finds the healthiest foods available at over 350 chain restaurants. As soon as the watchOS app is launched, Bellycheck locates a curated handful of local restaurants like McDonald’s, Starbucks, Subway, and others you might generally consider unsuitable for a nutritious meal.

Tap on a desired eatery, and Bellycheck provides a list of the healthiest choices available, ranked by green (menu items rich in nutrients or high in essential minerals), yellow (food that falls somewhere in the middle), and red (the stuff healthy eaters should avoid). Selecting an entry presents all of the relevant data on calories, fat, cholesterol, and more so you can make an informed choice when ordering.

Although limited to brand names, it’s a great way to stick to a diet. The only downside is how the app rescans when the Watch display goes to sleep.

the bottom line. Eat healthier at fast food joints.
