Can my 2016 MacBook Pro’s SSDb e upgraded?

Not if it has a Touch Bar, as the SSD is actually soldered in; there’s no room for connectors. Non–Touch Bar models mount into a custom slot, making them upgradable to a maximum of 2TB. At least that’s the theory, but the slot requires a drive that’s in an unusual form factor.
