Screenshot Pro is a manager for all the screenshots you take on your iPhone or iPad, allowing you to keep them completely separate from the photos in Photos, if you choose.
Screenshot Pro’s most interesting feature is its ability to extract the text (Latin script–based languages only) from screenshots and store it in a notes field, ready to be copied and pasted into another app.
It also allows you to tag screenshots and then organize them by tag, rename them, favorite them, add notes of your own, and search screenshots based on tags, names, and notes. There’s also a Smart Tags tool that adds screenshots to a folder automatically if they meet certain conditions you set, such as having specific text in the image or being taken on a certain date.
When you first launch Screenshot Pro, it imports all the screenshots from the Photos app. You can then choose to delete them from Photos, and have Screenshots Pro delete new screenshots automatically after importing. All screenshots in the app are stored on your device, not in the cloud, so there’s also a useful feature to allow you to reduce their size so they take up less space. And you can also lock your screenshots so that viewing them requires a code.
